Gothaplast Academy started its activities in 2001. Since then scientific seminars on changing topics are hold which are very well accepted.
The field of activities of the Academy focuses on the education of medical personnel in cooperation with governmental institutions like the federal medical societies which include the lectures in their point system and certify the participation within the scope of the voluntary education.
Scientists from various branches like medicine, chemistry, biology are incorporated in the Academys activities. The subject of the seminars on modern wound management is the effective treatment of chronic wound healing disturbances and its impact on economical aspects.
Outside Germany the Academy is also active.
